High School Assistant Principal/Instructional Coach Transition
November 11, 2025
Dear Shenandoah Families,
I’d like to take a moment to share a few important updates from last evening’s School Board meeting.
Mrs. Jessica Zepik has accepted a new position as the Elementary Principal of a virtual school and will begin her new role on November 17th. This opportunity represents a natural next step in her career, aligning with her 20 years of experience at the elementary level and her strong background in digital learning. While she has truly enjoyed her time with our students, staff, and community, this new position is also a better fit for her family.
We are deeply grateful for Mrs. Zepik’s dedication, leadership, and the positive impact she has made at Shenandoah. We wish her all the best in this next chapter and know she will continue to make a difference wherever she goes.
We are also excited to announce that the School Board has approved Mr. Daniel Hanson as the next Assistant Principal/Instructional Coach at Shenandoah High School! A proud 2005 SHS graduate, Mr. Hanson is returning home to the district where his educational journey began. He brings with him a wealth of experience as a classroom teacher, athletic director, assistant principal, and championship coach - making him an excellent fit for this unique role.
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Hanson back to Shenandoah! He will officially begin his new position on December 1st and we are confident he will make an immediate and positive impact on our school community.
Sincerely,
Jake Wiese
