A Thousand Boy Kisses
By Tillie Cole

Poppy - I lost my grandma at a young age which was hard but she sent me on a mission to get a thousand boy kisses before I passed away. A thousand kisses was a lot and I was sure I had forever to get them. I loved nature and just taking time to appreciate the things around me. I also had my Rune to keep me company until I didn't. Rune moved away with his family far away and not soon after I moved to. Keeping my secret from my friends was hard but the hardest thing I had to do was cut off Rune. There was no way I could tell him my secret and hurt him. He just needed to move on. It would save him from the heartbreak he would have to feel if I ever told him.

Rune - I loved Poppy ever since we were little. We had been through a lot together and I was sure we would finish growing up together. Leaving Poppy was the hardest thing for me to do and it was all because of my dad. We kept in contact for a while until one day I called and texted but got no responses. Why would Poppy just leave me like that? Did she find someone else? Will I ever get answers to where Poppy went or why I'm not getting any responses. Well great news i'm moving back and maybe just maybe i'll get the answers i've been looking for.

Slammed

My name is Layken. My mom wanted to name me Layla and my dad wanted to name me Kennedy so they compromised. My dad died 7 months ago. It hasn't gotten easier, it's only gotten harder. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse my mom decided to move my little brother Kel and I to Michigan away from the only home weve ever known. When we got to our new house and I saw him, we instantly had a connection. Will Cooper is tall, slim and hot. When he saw me I could tell we had something. When I got out of the UHaul, Kel ran straight to another little boy across the street, Will's little brother Caulder. They became instant best friends. Will walked over to me and introduced himself to me. When I shook Will's hand I saw sparks fly. A fews days have gone by and we went on a date. He took me to Club9 for a poetry slamming night. I had a great time. Over the weekend I kept looking out the window at his house for the chance that he might be looking too. Monday rolled around and I was trying to find my 3rd period class, I walked around the counter and I bumped into someone. I look up and see Will. What is he doing here? When I get to 3rd period I find a seat next to a girl with bright red hair. Her name is Eddie. A few minutes later Will walks in and sets his stuff on the desk and says “Good morning class” WILL IS MY TEACHER!!!!!😳 I can't believe it. I went home early that day and I cried all the way home. The next few days rolled around and I kept going to Wills class. I needed to change my schedule because I couldn't bear to be in his class anymore because I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. How am I supposed to deal with this..
