Check It Out
Shatter Me Ever since I was little I’ve never been able to touch people without hurting them. I’ve felt like a monster my entire life and I’ve never known anything else. I was put in a cell for 264 days before I was able to have any sort of contact with anyone. Finally on that 265th day it all changed. Adam came. Long story short, he led me to Warner. Warner is unlike anyone I’ve ever met before. Even though he was completely ruthless, he helped me see things about myself that I wouldn’t have seen without his help. There are so many important details, little conversations and significant events that have gone into who I am now and how much I have changed and grown since we met, and Tahereh Mafi captures it all perfectly as she writes “Shatter Me”.

Point of Retreat How far do I have to go to prove my love to Layken? Why doesn't she understand the difference between me now and my past? Our emotion packed love story continues, and it's more chaotic than ever. I messed up and now because of my past, I don't think Layken and I will be able to

Scythe
By Neal Shusterman I always enjoyed being the lettuce. The invisible greens between the importance of the hamburger and the glue of the top and bottom buns. Going unnoticed, even by those we were supposed to be closest to, had been my best friend Tyger and I's specialty, that is, until Scythe Faraday decided to pluck me out of my mediocrity. I never really thought about how my first encounter with a scythe would go, much less did I think that I'd have more than one encounter - I assumed I'd be dead. But from the moment Scythe Faraday asked me to become his apprentice, I was no longer the lettuce, I was the onion. People either loved me or hated me, but no matter what, I left a bad taste in people's mouths whenever I left. Most assume that scythe's apprentices have the power to glean right from the start, so they either flock to me or from me depending on their personal level of sycophantic tendencies. I have become accustomed to being the onion. At least I don't have to do it alone. Citra, Scythe Faraday's second apprentice (which I didn't even know was possible), keeps me, well, occupied. I have a sour feeling that only one of us will graduate from this apprenticeship and follow in Scythe Faraday's footsteps as an administrator of death. But for now I am content being the onion. For now.

Michigan vs. the Boys
By Carrie S. Allen Well there goes my high school hockey career, or so I thought. Hello my name is Michigan, yes like the state, and I had just earned the Assistant Captain spot when the principal told my team and the boys swim team we were no longer going to have a school sanctioned team. With not having a hockey team and my teammates going to do other things left me no choice but to try out for the boys hockey team. Lets just say that when the guys that tried out found out I had made varsity, they weren't to happy. We will see how this season turns out as this season progresses.

Till We Have Faces
By C.S. Lewis
I am the cover of this woman's face, Orual, they call her.
She only uses me for the hatred of the god's curse, her face. She begs for someone to love as she has loved, her sister, psych. But fear her, not weak.

Eragon
Everything is happening so fast. All the changes. Saphira.
Garrow. The strangers. Brom. Everything happens so fast. I was just a normal farm boy. Now everyone is expecting so much. I don’t know if I can keep up. No, I have too, I can’t stop, not with everything that has happened. Galbatorix won’t let me. The King will never stop, I’m just glad he hasn’t come himself. All of this would a be for nothing if that happens or so everyone says. Nothing would change, the land would only get worse. Galbatorix already caused the geniocide of one race, and attempted to do the same to another.

Heroine
By Mindy McGinnis It was easy at first, just take an Oxy and feel better. One a day, that simple. But now it got harder, I was out of Oxy and I was so desperate so I found someone who would sell it to me. Not the best choice but I did it. My name is Mickey Catalan and people may think I am an addict but I dont. I think I am just doing this because I'm in pain. It's normal right?... When your in pain, you take medicine. But no, this is messing me up. I'm now going through withdrawal since softball season began. But everything will be better if i just buy more Oxy, and maybe even do heroine. I'm still doing good at my games. But I just don't feel right at all. I feel like I've been put in a druggies body. I am not in a good place. Find out what happens to Mickey by reading Heroine By Mindy McGinnis..
